Our organisation is a partnership of local community, private and public representatives responsible for the implementation of Community-Led Local Development.
Through a series of partnership working, we will advance our overarching aim to create more prosperous and more resilient communities which are better places in which to live and work across Angus.
Our Vision
Angus Rural Partnership has been formed to benefit the community of Angus and its environs with the specific aim of supporting community led development and rural resilience.
Our Aims
- We will provide grants or other forms of assistance, financial or otherwise, to organisations/individuals that undertake activities, which further our vision.
- We will promote knowledge transfer and sharing best practice in the delivery of sustainable rural development projects locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
- We will encourage effective partnership working.
- We will offer networking opportunities (linking local community, statutory and private organisations) to engage in activities which will advance representative and participatory democracy.
- We will advance rural economies by creating opportunities for local people to access local vocational skills, encourage business start-up and associated job creation and growth.
- We will promote inclusion, equality and diversity.
